HULK

The Hulk, Dr. Robert Bruce Banner, is a cartoon character in the comics of the same name by Marvel Comics. It was created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. De Hulk often proceeds for a superhero, but in fact, it is more like an anti-hero; he often has to fight off other heroes. Since its first appearance in May 1962, the Hulk has become one of the world's most recognizable cartoon characters. In the Dutch translation the comic is initially called Raw Bonk, then the Verbijsterende Hulk.

The Hulk was created after nuclear physicist Robert Bruce Banner was accidentally exposed to a high dose of gamma radiation from an experimental bomb he made. Since then, when Bruce gets excited, The changes to the Hulk: his muscles become more powerful and swell; so that he tears out of his clothes. However, his intelligence drops to the level of a five-year-old. Furthermore, his skin turns green, although in some strips he still sometimes wears the colour grey.
